What are the Key strengths of the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Market Report?

What is Generalized Anxiety Disorder?

Generalized anxiety disorder involves persistent and excessive worry that interferes with daily activities. This ongoing worry and tension may be accompanied by physical symptoms, such as restlessness, feeling on edge or easily fatigued, difficulty concentrating, muscle tension, or problems sleeping. Often the worries focus on everyday things such as job responsibilities, family health, or minor matters such as chores, car repairs, or appointments. GAD can go undiagnosed because of a focus on physical symptoms and the stigma of mental illness. However, people with GAD can have meaningful lives and can function socially as well, when the anxiety level is mild-to-moderate or when they are taking some kind of treatment.

The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-V) lists separation anxiety, selective mutism, specific phobia, social anxiety disorder (also called social phobia), panic disorder, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety, substance abuse/medication-induced anxiety, and an anxiety…

How many Nobel-prize winning scientists support intelligent design?

I think a lot of young people give up on design in the universe because they 1) don’t know the evidence for design and 2) don’t want to be considered to be stupid when confronted with intelligent atheists. For those people, it can be useful to point them to smart people who have worked through the evidence for design, and concluded that the universe (and life) is the product of design.

Here’s the story from Evolution News:

Earlier this week, John West reported on a major new exhibition on faith and science in Washington, DC, tackling the question of whether the Bible impeded or inspired the rise of modern science. (Judging from the historical record, “inspired” is clearly the correct answer.) In the article, he mentioned another Nobel Prize-winning scientist who endorsed the idea of an intelligent design behind the universe, using that phrase explicitly. This was news to me. He…

NATO’s ‘war against Russia’ inches ‘closer to direct conflict’

After all, it is mainly Ukrainians paying the price of the “war against Russia” fueled from afar.

Since thefirst weekof Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, French President Emmanuel Macron hasrepeateda mantra on behalf of his NATO partners: “We are not at war with Russia.”

Nearly one year in, that notion has officially been dispelled.

“We are fighting a war against Russia,” German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbocksaid this week.

Baerbock was trying to assuage NATO allies’ frustration over German reluctance to send Leopard 2 tanks into Ukraine. She can now claim vindication. In a reversal of its initial position, the German government has announced it that will deliver Leopard 2 tanks to the Ukrainian army.

Swift Ends Cryptocurrency Access to Global Marketplace

(Martin Armstrong) SWIFT will no longer process currency transactions from bank accounts to crypto exchange, with a value of fewer than 100,000 USD, effective February 1st, 2023. The move is designed to reduce the access of crypto investors which is a step toward what I have been warning that governments will NOT allow private cryptos to compete.

When Jewish Piranhas Attack Each Other

The World We Live In

Pablo Picasso, “Woman Ironing,” 1904.

JANUARY 31, 2023

NY Times:Jewish Heirs Sue Guggenheim Over Ownership of a Prized Picasso The museum says the painting’s owner, who sold it after fleeing Nazi Germany, made a “fair transaction.” His heirs say he sold under duress.

A bit of amusing comic relief today from the negative noise of a world gone mad. When the usual suspects aren’t preying upon a goy target, (((they))) have been observed to viciously turn upon each other from time to time. Reminds me of the pet piranhas that I kept during my sadistic youth. Miss a few days of live goldfish feedings and they’d start eating each other — bones and all!

From the article:

“In 1916, Karl Adler, a German Jew, purchased a Pablo Picasso painting now viewed as a masterpiece, “Woman Ironing,” from the owner of a prestigious gallery in Munich. But 22 years later, when…

Former UK Defense Minister Says NATO May Need To Send Ground Forces To Ukraine

Hellbound and Down

The“domino theory”was once used to great effect in order tomanipulate the American public into supporting the Vietnam War,but will the same narrative work to get the west to support World War III with Russia?

Former UK Defense Minister Sir Gerald Howarth seems to think so as he uses this exact claim to justify NATO boots on the ground in Ukraine.

It should be noted that alarge percentageof the American populace and most of Europe have no interest whatsoever in engaging with Russia and possibly its allies in all out war,but the establishment appears intent on forcing the issue anyway. The delivery of NATO tanks and the possibility of longer range missiles will no doubt trigger a wider response from Russia, which will then be used by NATO as a reason to escalate further.

At the very least, Howarth does admit what many in…

Peaceful Co-Existence, Freedom & Happiness Are Interconnected (the Story of a Dog and a Leopard)

Futurist Trendcast

Original link: Peaceful Co-Existence, Freedom & Happiness Are Interconnected (the Story of a Dog and a Leopard)

The story of a dog and a leopard was sent to me by someone via email, and I think it has a great meaning.

This incident is from the resthouse adjacent to the Kombaru sanctuary in Karnataka.

**Karnataka is a state in southwest India, with Arabian Sea coastlines.**

A leopard was chasing a dog. The dog entered the toilet through a window. The toilet was closed from the outside.

The leopard entered behind the dog, and both got stuck in the toilet. When the dog saw the leopard, he panicked and quietly sat in one corner. He didn’t even dare to bark.

Even though the leopard was hungry and was chasing the dog, he did not eat the dog. He could have had dinner by tearing off the…

‘Obscene’: Exxon Posts Record $56 Billion in Profits — But Keeps Gouging Consumers

The Most Revolutionary Act

As ExxonMobil on Tuesday joined other U.S. oil companies in reporting record 2022 earnings amid rising gas prices, consumer and climate advocates renewed calls for a Big Oil windfall profits tax.

Texas-based ExxonMobil posted a $55.7 billion profit last year, breaking not only its own previous company record — $45 billion in 2008 — but setting a historic high for the Western oil industry, according to Reuters.

The company’s profit is a 144% increase from 2021 and, as Fossil Free Media director Jamie Henn noted, “enough money to send every person in the U.S. $178 to help offset the costs of high fossil fuel costs and gas bills.”

The Unwarranted Proxy War:A Year Later

US Big Defence will be the only winner of the proxy war in Ukraine. Not only do these global military contractors arm Ukraine, but they stand to benefit from the re-militarisation of Western European countries, Japan, and new NATO members.

In the view of Big Defence, peace is just a bad business proposition. There’s no money in it.

The World Financial Review, ByDr Dan Steinbock, 27 Jan 23

To Russia and Ukraine, the crisis is an existential issue. To the US and NATO, it’s a regime-change game. To Europe, it means the demise of stability – in the world economy, lost years (and that’s the benign scenario).

That’s how I characterised the US/NATO-led proxy war against Russia in Ukraine back in early March 2022. I argued that it was an “avoidable war that will penalise severely Ukraine, Russia, the US and the NATO, Europe, developing countries and the…

TAG: Start-Up Recycling Facilities/Baytown, TX.

In case you missed it, we recently announced the successful startup of one of the largest advanced recycling facilities in North America – down in Baytown, Texas.

Here’s why that’s so important…

ExxonMobil’s Baytown facility can now process more than 80 million pounds of plastic waste per year, and we plan to build other advanced recycling facilities at many of our manufacturing sites around the world. Doing so would give us the capacity to process up to 1 billion pounds of plastic waste annually, by year-end 2026.

As we’ve said before, advanced recycling can help accelerate a circular economy and address the challenge of plastic waste. This facility is a huge part of that.

If you’re excited about the new Baytown facility and the future of advanced recycling, we’re inviting you to sign your name to show your support.

Defining Manliness

Innocent Bystanders

Seems like people are always trying to define what a “man” is. I remember a few years back when some yahoo had a list of manly attributes. Among them was “charging his wife and kids’ cellphones at night.” He was thoroughly and justly mocked.

Today Instapundit linked to a commendable essay which talks about the definition of manhood.

Man among men

by Steven McGregor

On what it means to be a man.

The debate about Burke reminded me of the debate about men: what makes a man? One way of answering this question is to go about it the way the short historian approached Burke, to describe men’s beliefs and influences. The psychologist James Mahalik did exactly this in 2003 when, along with a team of researchers and postgraduates, he created a list of twelve “masculine norms . . . Winning, Emotional Control, Risk-Taking, Violence, Dominance, Playboy, Self-Reliance…

Catherine Perez-Shakdam: The ‘Israeli Spy’ Who ‘Inflitrated’ Mintpress – by Alan MacLeod – Jan 2023

A storm of controversy erupted earlier this year in Iran, after local media outlets announced that a “Mossad spy” and “Israeli infiltrator” had gained the trust of the country’s senior leadership, penetrated into the highest halls of power, and had even been employed as a writer for Ayatollah Khamenei himself.

Although the stories did not disclose the name of the infiltrator, it was clear that the individual in question was Catherine Perez-Shakdam. Almost immediately, Iranian media such asPress TVandThe Tehran Timesbegan silently but furiously removing all her content from their pages. Perhaps most worrying from an Iranian government perspective,, Ayatollah Khamenei’s own website, had to delete her articles and disavow her.

Catherine Perez-Shakdam is a French-born journalist and analyst who had married a Yemeni man, converted to Shia Islam and wore a hijab. In her professional life, she penned articles denouncing Israeli and Saudi crimes…

How The Unvaccinated Nearly Took My Brother’s Life

Once upon a time, my brother was a happy and healthy male who enjoyed outdoor activities and a successful academic career

Unfortunately, his wife is an anti-vaxxer who didn’t believe in double or triple masking and was worried about getting a new vaccine that she thought was untested and possibly unsafe. Though I explained how this shot was safe, effective, and could save lives per Dr. Fauci, she ignored my reasoning.

But she ignored me.

The next thing we know, my poor brother was exposed to Covid, possibly at a sporting event, and now he sits in treatment, fighting for his life. Jessica insists germs and viruses circulate and no one is to blame, but we know…

If you’re tired of censorship, cancel culture, and the erosion of privacy and civil liberties subscribe to Reclaim The Net.

The annual World Economic Forum (WEF) gathering has always been a testing ground for some bizarre ideas, which nonetheless serve a purpose: to introduce, and if possible normalize all kinds of mass surveillance and sometimes extremely privacy-invasive technologies.

And monitoring people’s brain activity, including via implants – surely, it doesn’t get much more invasive than that.

“employers intervening to get your mind back on track.”

Yet this was one of the technologies presented at an event in Davos this year by Duke University Professor Nita Farahany.

So much for the nuclear moment

Remember the emotional statement from Jacinda Ardern that climate change was our nuclear moment?

Like so much else since 2017, it was high on aspiration and low on action.

Imposing the carbon tax was accompanied by emotional rhetoric that was forgotten when fuel prices climbed and the cost of living started biting people and eating into Labour’s support.

The government reduced the tax supposedly temporarily but now it’s just extended it to June. Does anyone believe it will be put back on just three months before the election?

I am philosophically in support of lower taxes but think extending the tax cut is being done for the wrong reasons.

The government should stop using the National Land Transport Fund for anything other than roading and costs directly related to roading to enable the tax to be permanently lower.

Taxpayers’ Union Campaigns Manager, Callum Purves, said:

The Price of Liberty

Western civilization is falling. Like Roman civilization before it. And Greek civilization before that. There are many reasons. It may still take decades or even centuries, but as with Babylon, the handwriting is on the wall. (And since events seem to be faster, overall, today due to technology and population, we may not have all that long.)

What does that mean? Even if the nukes are launched and dropped, the world and the human race will not disappear. There will be something replacing western civilization. Sooner or later – but unlikely to be a centuries-long period of darkness and horror, as the science fiction writers commonly portray. Not to say it won’t be nasty for a good while, but finally, something else will develop.

Raging Bulls in Blue: The Deadly Toll of Warrior Policing on Steroids

John W. Whitehead, Constitutional Attorney

This is warrior policing on steroids.”—Paul Butler, law professor

That the police officers charged with thebeating death of 29-year-old Tyre Nicholsare Black is a distraction.

Don’t be distracted.

This latest instance of police brutality is not about racism in policing or black-on-black violence.

The entire institution is corrupt.

The old guard—made up of fine, decent, lawful police officers who took seriously their oath of office to serve and protect their fellow citizens, uphold the Constitution, and maintain the peace—has given way to a new guard hyped up on their own authority and the power of the badge who have almost absolute discretion to decide who is a threat, what constitutes resistance, and how harshly they can deal with the citizens they were appointed to “serve and protect.”

Memphis’now-disbanded Scorpion unitprovides a glimpse into the looming crisis in policing that has gone beyond mere militarization.

More Weapons for the Ukrainians as a Way to Peace

“Weapons are the way to peace,” quoth NATO secretary general Stoltenberg at the Davos conference, advocating for more weapons to be sent to the rapidly failing Nazi dictatorship in Kiev. Those who know and love old Jens probably heard this and clapped their hands in joy—”Yay, more weapons!”—whereas I, having long ago concluded that he is a cross between a Doltenberg and a Stultenberg, was loathe to admit that for once he spoke the absolute, unadulterated truth: funneling all of NATO’s weapons (except the nuclear ones, of course) to the hapless Ukrainians would be most conducive to not just ridding the world of these terrible weapons but also eliminating the remnants of Ukrainian Nazis and whatever foreign mercenaries and NATO special forces are embedded in their midst.

Logic fallacies allow the Left to believe in their false narratives

Freedom Cocktail

On today’s show, I open with the protests and commentary following the beating death of a black man at the hands of five black officers. Not fitting the normal narrative for the Left, I have noticed the shift in the grievance industry, adopting the same logic fallacies used by climate alarmists.

The logic fallacy occurs when a narrative is established and then anything that happens related to that narrative is proof of it being true. For example, with the climate alarmists, if we have a hot summer, that’s an example of climate change. But, if we have a cool summer, that is also an example of climate change. A wetter than normal year is an example, but so is a drier than normal year. They shape the premise around an emotional distortion (something is extreme or not normal) and that becomes the proof to uphold their narrative.

The main thrust and purpose is to shine a light on, and get good insights into, the rising political star that is DeSantis, via a comprehensive, original-genealogy-research-based, all-branch review of Ron DeSantis’ ancestry. We go back to 19th- and early-20th-century Italy, and then to industrial Ohio.

Spitting on Confederates

True patriotism sometimes requires of men to act exactly contrary, at one period, to that which it does at another, and the motive which impels them the desire to do right is precisely the same. – General Robert E Lee

The Tactical Hermit

Spitting on Confederates

For 130 years, this monument stood in Richmond, Virginia.

This is Confederate General Ambrose Powell Hill, one of Stonewall Jackson’s ablest divisional commanders. The general was buried beneath the monument.

Last December, as part of its campaign to wipe out every trace of the Confederacy, the Richmond city government tore down the monument, dug up the general, and expelled him from the Capital of the Confederacy.

Hill’s outraged descendants had no choice but to rebury their ancestor, which they did last weekend, in Culpepper, Virginia.

The family worried that the bigots who screamed obscenities as the general came down might contaminate the reburial, so they publicized it only by word of mouth. I was worried attendance would be sparse, but there must have been at least 400 people. This is a very partial view.

Emergent Criticality in Coupled Boolean Networks

Complexity Digest

Chris Kang, Madelynn McElroy, and Nikolaos K. Voulgarakis

Entropy 2023, 25(2), 235

Early embryonic development involves forming all specialized cells from a fluid-like mass of identical stem cells. The differentiation process consists of a series of symmetry-breaking events, starting from a high-symmetry state (stem cells) to a low-symmetry state (specialized cells). This scenario closely resembles phase transitions in statistical mechanics. To theoretically study this hypothesis, we model embryonic stem cell (ESC) populations through a coupled Boolean network (BN) model. The interaction is applied using a multilayer Ising model that considers paracrine and autocrine signaling, along with external interventions. It is demonstrated that cell-to-cell variability can be interpreted as a mixture of steady-state probability distributions. Simulations have revealed that such models can undergo a series of first- and second-order phase transitions as a function of the system parameters that describe gene expression noise and interaction strengths. These phase transitions result in…

Scam: Cheap Fritz boxes on eBay classifieds lure victims

Russian tourist flows to Seychelles and the New World Order

Gilbert Doctorow

Seychelles may now rival Thailand as the preferred winter resort destination in the tropics for middle and upper class Russians. Tourist statistics published by the Seychelles authorities two weeks ago show that Russians have now become the single largest contingent of arrivals, displacing the French and Germans.

How are we to understand this phenomenon? There are some obvious and also some less evident reasons.

Among the most obvious reasons is the visa-free regime that Seychelles offer to Rusians. Less obvious but equally important is the excellent logistical solution put in place by Emirates Airlines and other carriers based on the Arabian peninsula.

Back in December, I was surprised that Emirates opened daily flights of their Boeing 777s from Petersburg to Dubai. They had previously been flying daily from Moscow, where there is greater wealth and a much larger population concentrated. How many Petersburgers would be won over by “Shop Dubai!”…

The Abolition of Man Amid the Consequences of Reality

January 31, 2023

by Doug “Uncola” Lynn:

Woke ideology is doomed to fail because its foundational premises are not grounded in reality. Or, more specifically, “wokeness” is rooted in human emotionalism as opposed to truth. Such applied moral irrationality has also been identified as relativism or subjectivism.

In truth, the Woke Religion is merely one leg of the three-legged stool upon which the central planners behind The Great Reset are currently enthroning themselves. The other two legs underpinning the proposed New World Order are economic and political. Although all three legs of world control are manifesting by means of relativism, or subjectivism, these manifestations are not occurring through random chance. On the contrary, Hegelian / Marxist Luciferian dialectics are being strategically applied toward the consolidation of global power: solve et coagula vis-à-vis ordo ab chao. Dissolution and coagulation are occurring now so that chaos concludes in the form…

The Dangerous Lithium Car Battery and Why You Should Care

BUNKERVILLE | God, Guns and Guts Comrades!

California fire crews use SIX THOUSAND gallons of water to extinguish burning Tesla Model S whose battery spontaneously combusted while driving down busy freeway.

  • Fire officials said that nothing was wrong with the car before it combusted

Mustang picks up the facts of Lithium and why it is so dangerous.

As with all alkali metals, lithium is highly reactive and flammable. It must be stored in a vacuum atmosphere or inert liquid (such as purified kerosene or mineral oil).

When cut, lithium exhibits a metallic luster. When exposed to moist air, it corrodes quickly to a dull silvery gray color and then to a black tarnish. Lithium never occurs freely in nature but only in ionic compounds, which were once the primary source of lithium. Due to its solubility as an ion, it is present in ocean water and is commonly obtained from brines. Lithium metal is isolated electrolytically from…

Egalitarianism vs Consistency

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 3:28

Is it easier to be adopted or to change your sex? This isn’t a trick question. You can be adopted, and you can’t change your sex.

When Paul uses the language in Galatians 3:28 that there is “neither … male nor female”, then, he clearly isn’t speaking literally. If he were, then male and female would cease to exist as real categories. “True enough”, an egalitarian might say, “but he’s not talking about your biology; just your role”.

Paul also calls his fellow believers “brothers and sisters in Christ”. Now surely, this must also be talking about role, because he also uses the language of adoption, and being adopted is not a change in your nature but a change in your relationship; a change in the role you play related to the family into which…
