Germany finds itself in a fix. Freeze or burn coal. Just as many countries who cannot provide enough nat gas to fuel its economy and homes. Those who have natural energy resources are the winner. Those who do also need to use common sense and appreciate what they have.
A wind farm is being dismantled in western Germany to make way for an expansion of an open-pit lignite coal mine in a “paradoxical” situation highlighting the current prioritization of energy security over clean energy in Europe’s biggest economy.
